A Little About Me
I grew up an only child in North Georgia. I graduated from Auburn University in 2016 with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. My Husband and I moved to the Lowcountry in 2017. We have 3 fur babies and a human daughter... who refers to herself as a, "feral child."
We live on 40 acres in the middle of absolutely nowhere. It's everything we could've asked for and we're living our best homesteading lives surrounded by the sounds of Lowcountry nature and stunning sunsets!

Why Photography...
Whenever my mom and I flip through old photos I'll inevitably find stacks of images of various items in our house or candid photos of people. I can't tell you how many rolls of film she would take to have developed, only to find it full of my random snapshots. We should've known back then I would find my way back behind a camera.
After several years in the classroom, my soul craved an outlet for my creative expression, and I knew photography was that outlet.
My absolute favorite shoots are senior portrait sessions! There's something so special getting to play a part in a senior's final year of high school. I remember being so disappointed in my own senior pictures because I didn't feel like they represented ME as a person. My mom and I took to downtown to have a photoshoot that I felt represented who I was at that specific time in my life. As a result, I have a whole album of photos that I can, to this day, look back on, and each time they evoke the feelings of an 18-year-old Savannah, looking forward to the next chapter in her life while discovering who she wanted to be.
That's the magical thing about photographs. What might be a nice photo to one person, can ignite deep emotions in another. What appears to be a simple photo is actually a memory frozen that you can carry with you.
It is always my goal with each portrait session to let the photos tell a story of who you are as a person, couple or family. I would be honored to work with you in telling your story through stolen moments, frozen in time in photographs.
